Default Routing 1982 Front light harness

Howdy! I'm in the process of installing new wiring harnesses in my '82, don't ask how long I've been at it. Anyway, I've got it most of the way done, except I'm now at the point where the harness runs past the radiator and can't seem to find a way to get it through the small opening. Anyone do this before and have any tips? Or do I need to pull the hood, radiator and radiator support? Thanks for any advice!

Just did the same in my '79. No need at all to remove the hood. What you really need is a helper. Beginning with the passenger side lamps, feed 1-2 connectors through at a time. One person is feeding through the connectors (working on either side of the radiator) while the other holds the rest of the harness out of the way and reasonably taut.

Here's a photo but I don't know if it will be of much use as the "slot" that the harness passes through is both small and hidden to the camera.
