Replacing side yokes on rear end
I am planing on changing my stub axles (side yokes) to the heavy duty style and was wondering if they can be removed with taking the half shafts out or do you have to remove the rear end completetly

You have to remove the rear cover to get the clips off. To remove the cover, you have to undo the spring. By then the rears out.

The short answer is yes, to remove the yokes, you have to remove the rear. It's not as bad of a job as it looks.
