Im back! Was a member a long time ago then went through a truck phase. My question, might be one for Lars: I have a 1974 Corvette L-48 automatic. I was running a 7044202 Quadrajet but found a 7044206 which belongs on it. I went to switch the carbs and the 206 only has one vacuum port, the larger ones or the PCV, on the throttle plate. The 202 had two, one for the PCV and the other for the charcoal canister. is there another location for the vacuum line for the canister or did the throttle plate get switched with an earlier one somewhere along the line?
Thanks! I have a couple 7044202 Quadrajets which have both ports in the throttle plate (and the third for the EGR) I can raid for parts. If I remember correctly the throttle plate is the same as the one for the 7044206. Let me know if I'm mistaken. Thanks again!

As seen in the photo of the throttle plate, there are 3 ports in the front of the baseplate, and one in the rear. Rear port is power brakes.
The carb float bowl has an additional 3 vacuum ports, one of which is dedicated to the choke pulloff.
