Default 70 Coupe Door Spring

Is there any way to put the door spring in with the door in place, or does is have to be removed?

Thanks.

If you mean the "S" spring that holds the door open, yes it can be removed without taking the door off. It's a pain though. Some vendors sell a tool but a good pry-bar or old big straight slot screwdriver will work.

Buy the spring, buy the bent screwdriver, watch the video. 10 minute job. Done.

My pry-bar works great. Don't waste your money on the tool but that's my opinion.

My handles are yellow and I call the big one Excalibur.
