Default Oil Pan

My boyfriend and I have a blueprint 355 motor, it runs perfect but needs a new oil pan. We can not find a replacement for the one that came on the engine, and we have contacted blueprint and all they told us is that they dont sell parts. Model number is bp35512ct1 link to it

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mll-bp35512ct1

Any help is amazing, thanks!

A stock type oil pan should not be hard to get, or even a deep pan. How many quarts of oil does it hold.
Jegs, Summit racing. Or a Corvette place like Ecklers. all of these places sell oil pans in stock and other configurations.

These will work, just be sure to get one that fits a Gen I small block and has a passenger side dipstick provision. Canton makes a great oil pan, but there are also others that will work as well.

You can also call their tech line 1-330-630-0240, and ask them to recommend a pan based on your intended use.

You also have to be sure it is for one or two piece main seal......the rear smiley face on the pan is different....
If it is two piece I would try to find a Corvette pan.......1980 to 82. I believe these were still the 6 qt configuration.....correct me if I am wrong.....I know the early ones were.....
The stock Vette pan is an damn good piece.....baffles and trap doors for deceleration as well as one extra quart.

It is one piece, copied below from the Blue Print Engines web site

Block:
4-bolt main, 1-piece rear main seal
Passenger side dipstick

Only the 63-65 solid lifter 327's (340, 360, 365 & 375 hp), and the 70-72 LT-1's without power steering, came with the large 5 quart capacity pan (6 quart system). All other 283, 327 and 350 engines were 5 quart systems, and used a 4 quart pan.

The 80-82 pans are right hand dipstick, 79 and earlier pans use the left (driver) side dipstick.

I replaced my engine with a one piece rear main motor. I bought the Canton pan and pickup. A very quality piece.

To the OP...what ever pan you use, make sure to check the clearance from the pickup to the pan bottom. Should be approx 3/8 in

Good advice.....and braze the pickup to the pump to prevent aeration.
