i have a 1982 corvette running fine one day it won't start.
I have no spark or fuel pump. power going in to distributer but not coming out. i hear a buzzing sound coming out of distributer like a back feed. I replace coil, module ignition switch under dash on column, still nothing. i even ran a direct ground to distributer and power line but still nothing.

Do you have a GM Service Manual? If not, get one. There is a good trouble shooting section on this topic.

I'm having a nearly same problem with a thread on this forum. On mine I get constant power through the distrubitor when my key is in the on, off or with the key out. I have to disconnect the battery to get the distributor to stop buzzingand kill the in-line light. Replace the battery cable and no noise until I try to start it. I have an in-line test light so I can see what's coming out of the disrtibutor at all times. Good luck and I will be following you on this. Hugh
If your hook your 12v test light to the TACH terminal on the distributor, the light should flash when you crank the engine. That will prove the pickup coil and module are good.
The ECM should command fuel pump on for 10 seconds at key on to prime the system, then the oil pressure switch takes over.
