Help exhort man off
pulling head now but cannot get drivers side exhort manifold out to get at head bolts?
4 sp removed the clutch linkage already
just cannot get the exhort out of way to get at bolts?

cannt tell from your post or your profile what year or engine ?
what is the problem with the exhaust manifold bolts, you cannt see them, they are tight, etc?
do you have the correct tools including 6 point sockets and if needed universal joint, etc?

To Revitup ... lol,,,, at the time I had almost exhausted all my options except,, 
,,, the motor mounts, really did not want to go there.
I was in the thick of the 4 hour fight, using the dumb phone that "helps" by correcting your spelling with the wrong words, when typing my plea for help
, desperately hoping that someone would give me the easy answer. Of course there was no easy answer so the car went up on jack stands, pulled center motor mount bolts, the engine went up and the exhaust manifolds fell out ... Then the head bolts revealed themselves and surrendered to the mighty half inch socket. The battle was finally won.
However, the war will continue into next weekend after I get the heads back from their hospital stay. Heads are GM casting 336781, the doctor will completely rebuild adding 2.19 intake valves.
The Corvette is a 1970, 427, 4sp, Stingray - Red & Black, it shares it's house with a lot of other car & motorcycle friends to keep it company.
