Wiper Door Vacuum Control Solenoid - testing?
What is the procedure to test the wiper door vacuum solenoid to make sure it is operating properly?

Hi LB,
The solenoid switch has both an electrical and vacuum function.
With the electrical connector removed the switch isn't energized. Connect your vacuum pump to the WHITE port and block the YELLOW port. The vacuum should be maintained.
Connect a 12v electrical source to the solenoid to energize it. Connect the vacuum pump to the YELLOW port. The vacuum should be maintained. The WHITE port is left open.
The VENT port must remain open for the solenoid to function normally.
Regards,
Alan
