I have removed the pedal assembly from my 1970 L46 coupe.
As the picture shows, the clutch linkage pin is badly worn.
I have searched the forum for a source for this pin, but the 2-3 year old posts related to this had none.
Is there a vendor that sells this pin now?
Also, should I be preemptively welding the center shaft to the pedal arm while I have it out?
If this is the pin on the pedal then it looks like you still have to buy the whole pedal assembly. BUT
I had this same problem and I went to the hardware store and bought a pin the same diameter (in there bolt section) and filed it down to fit the slot and then welded it in. DONE!

I don't think I've seen the pin available as a separate part.
TB1's suggestion for replacing it seems to be a good solution if you don't want to spring for the cost of a complete new arm.
I'm not sure what you were referring to when you mention welding the center shaft? Is it presently just a press 'fit'?

The welding of the shaft to the pedal arm was in some C1/C2 threads about clutch pedal woes.
The shaft end is dimpled to lock it to the pedal arm.
Maybe GM solved this issue on C3s?
I was wondering if it would be prudent to weld this connection to head off any future problems.
a long 5/16 bolt cut to length with a hole for the pin will do the job nicely and once welded in no one will know the difference, and yes while your welding weld the shaft.

Just make sure it's a grade 8 bolt so it won't wear out too fast.
I picked up a grade 8 bolt from the hardware store, cut it to length and drilled a hole as suggested. I was nervous about drilling a grade 8 because I don't have a drill press, but a sharp bit and cutting fluid made quick work of it.
Works great! Just need to weld the bolt head on the back side, and the center shaft to the arm.
