If price was not a factor
would you drop a ZZ4 or an LS-1 into your car?

LS1, by far and wide.
Much better power, emissions, mileage. I'd rather have a worked LS1 than a worked ZZ4, too.
Of course, with money being a factor...

But it would be a MAJOR factor. You'd have to change a whole lot of stuff. It would probably be cheaper and EASIER to just get a ZR1, aluminum 600+ horsepower big block, from American Speed or a second 'Vette than play with a LS1 transplant. IMHO.

I agree, there is a lot that would have to be changed to accomodate the LS-1. I believe Vette magazine has been working on such a project.
If price was not a factor, however, I would opt for a worked ZZ4. Sharks should have carbs.

If price is not a factor, might as well go LS6.
