Gear reduction starter install with headers.
I made a video on installing a gear reduction starter on my C3 corvette and I had some issues with installing it because I have headers on my car. I figured out on how to install it and I am posting here in case anyone else has issues with installing one so i can help! The audio in the first clip is very quiet but that is the only part that is messed up. Hope you enjoy the video!

Great Vid. This is one of many mods I need to eventually get to.
I had same header heat issue problems with other cars. Now that I got ceramic coated headers, have not had a heat soak starter problem,..... yet.
Not to mention the extra room and weight saved from the factory starter.
And if I had a dime for every time I said: " should be pretty easy" with these C3 Vette's, well.... and the phrase "let me think about this" is going to be pretty a regular comment. You gotta think outside the box with these cars.
