Just got my 82 front brake caliper hoses. They call for 14.25 and they are the correct size. But when I put them on they are like 4 inches too short. I did a update on the caliper to the o rings. Did I put the wrong halves together? I thought the caliper hose should be on the top rear not the front bottom... is it my mistake or am I not seeing something here? The calipers weren't on the car when I got it so I couldn't match it up.
Your caliber is assembled incorrectly by the looks of it, the inlet should face inwards and be at the the top (pointing up not down). Your hose length is correct.
So you think I got the halves mixed up when I did the o ring upgrade?

switch the halfs around and and all should be good.
