Need help with diagnostics on an '82 C.E., please.

Need help with diagnostics on an '82 C.E., please.
A friend has a very nice C.E. which has started throwing a code (SES flashes) on the highway.
Though I suspect the EGR system I was going to pull the codes to verify. I own an '88 Vette and am unfamiliar with components on an '82; I couldn't find the ALCL to hook up my scanner. Can anyone please describe it's location.
Assuming it is an EGR code, I also need help locating the EGR Temp Sw. The EGR valve and solenoid are easy to spot but I haven't yet found the Temp sw. I could realy use some help with locating it also.

I'm sure someone with more knowledge than this shadetree will join in,but for starters thealcl is under the ashtray.just pull it up and you'll see it (I think) :yesnod:

I have an AutoXray that I'll to plug into his ALCL to verify the code.
Does anyone know where the EGR Temp. Sw is located.
BTW 7782vette, what code were you getting that you couldn't find?
