Hello I was just wondering about your opinions of wheels going on a 68 Red Vette Convertible . All Stock except for Flowmaster exhaust. The choices are Centerline drag wheels {solid disc with caps} old school. either the polished or the satin finish. Or the Cragar SS. Does anyone have them on their Vett? Id love to see em. I did hear years ago that the Cragar wheels are made in China and that they eventually the chrome will peel.. Thanks ....

Wow I really love em both....They both look awesome ...... I dont think the weight of the Cragars is no issue , meaning u will not notice or feel the wight of em. Right?

Do u have any larger pics of them ? They are very hard to see..
They are in good driver shape no curb rash that i recall, i would of course look them over again if someone had interest in them,
I have been doing the forum from phone , drawback i dont know what size my posted pictures end up, here is one of the rear wheels a few years ago when i buffed them with a ball in a drill and mothers, they need this again, dull now,
The cone ended up not fitting with my lugs so i think i gave the cones away,
Im still finding car junk from our move,
They are big too, pretty sure the rears are 15x10 fronts 15x8...good to some people bad for others.
I don't mean to be the fly in the ointment but I think the Chevy Rally wheels are the best looking rim & have a timeless look.
Often imitated, think how many times you saw them on Camaros and Monte Carlos etc... Every young buck wanted rally wheels on his ride.
I had the Crager SS series on a 67 Mustang in HS and later the Keystone classics on a 73 Duster.
Still nothing like a steel wheel with style.
Some guys go back and forth like their dressing a doll.
Just my opinion. I think you'll miss the rally's in short time.

TOOCH ..U are so so right !!!!!!!! Do u know that i was just thinking the same thing about Chevy Rally Wheels how much i do like them!!! They really are a great looking Wheel and i WILL NOT BE CHANGING THEM ON MY 68 ANYTIME SOON.....
While I liked the look of the Cragar SS, as others have mentioned they will rust and require constant polishing. I finally gave up and replaced them with aluminum rims.

Hold on to your wallet!.....These new Vintage SS's are now available from Cragar - chrome plated aluminum! The shine you love, with the light weight of aluminum....no rust. (The photo doesn't do justice)....After seeing them at Summit, I just purchased a set.
I've had Cragar SS's on mine for 10+ years now.....after running Torque Thrusts and TTII's. I haven't had any peeling issues or finish problems at all.
