69 C3 Corvette not getting gas

Either the fuel pump has gone to fuel pump heaven (or where ever they go), or there's a leak on the suction side of the pump. But it may be a easy as the pickup tube in the tank got uncovered and all the gas in the fuel line went back to the tank- leaving you with an empty line, empty pump, and a really long cranking time to fill it all back up.

gas
Here's another thought. The fuel hose on the 69 can have a crimp in the way it routes from the pump to the line on the top of the frame. Check that area.

did you look into the tank with a flashlight and can you actually see gasoline?
do you have a vented gas cap?
add some gasoline to the tank.

Remove the hose from the fuel pump inlet and see if fuel flows out. If it's like 69, it will flow pretty good. If you got fuel there, disable the ignition and loosen the fuel line inlet at the carb, crank engine and see if fuel is there. Plugged fuel filter??? Stuck needle & seat??? Fuel cap not venting??? seems strange this would happen after jacking upi the front of the car.
