1975 corvette noise
i bought a 1975 vette a couple of weeks ago, this morning, when i turned left it made like a little rubbing or spring sound on my right front wheel or tire.
They have new tires, my mechanic said the tires are bigger then they should be.
the tire size is P235/70R15

The 235/70 tires are just one step up from the original tires for your car.
Normally I wouldn't elect them to rub.
BUT, if your front springs are a little 'tired' the ride height could be down a bit.
Can you see on the tire where it's rubbing? Is it rubbing the body or the frame, and is it happening when the steering is turned sharply?
