Yikes !! My Holley Fuel Pump is putting out 20 psi !! Now what ??!!
Just installed a new Holley 'Black' series Fuel Pump preset at 14 psi output. Its putting out 20 psi. The regulator at the carb is going crazy bouncing around .
Anyone ever have this happen to them ?? Sounds to me like the Fuel Pump isnt going into internal bypass and is building up too much outlet pressure.

Time for a pressure regulator! I'm only running about 6 1/2-7 pounds on my 383. Got the Holley Blue pump and regulator.

The Regulator is new too. Its jumping around because i dont think its designed to see 20 psi incoming. The fuel pump starts out displacing 20 psi then after a long while, it will go to 14 . Only then , will the regulator hold steady at 7 psi.
Guess its time to rag on the Holley Tech !
