Running rough accelerating
I have a 79 C3 with TPI and a 700R4. Two days ago I noticed all of a sudden when I would accelerate the car would shake the steering wheel a little. I thought it might be because the car has not been driven much since last summer so I took it over the mountains yesterday to clean it out and get rid of any flat spots the tires might have picked up from sitting, hoping thats what it needed. Well it wasn't. Now the whole car shakes on both acceleration and deceleration. The harder I accelerate and decelerat the worse it gets. The funny thing is no matter how fast or slow I go if I hold a constant speed it runs great it even runs smooth stopped at lights. Any ideas?

You should post this over on ThirdGen (those guys know everything about TPI motors) or SpeedTalk (those guys know everything about all motors).
TPI and a 700r4 in a 79 C3 -great choices! I put a 4L60e in my 79 and I'm putting the FIRST fuel injection TPI-style intake in it this winter.

You should post this over on ThirdGen (those guys know everything about TPI motors) or SpeedTalk (those guys know everything about all motors).
