Bad Plug??

Bad Plug??
Motor is out of car on stand. Just looking over it and realized the ceramic portion of the plug looked different. Ceramic spins freely from the metal shell and carbon obviously blowing out between the metal and ceramic. I've been working on cars for 30 years and don't think I've ever seen this. I assume more common than one would think?? There is only about 2000 miles on the plugs.

I got some champion plugs years ago but not for my corvette and after I changed them started the car and one was hissing due to not being sealed so went to another brand. I haven't heard of or had another plug do it until now.
Is my vette stock?? HAHA

In order for manufacturing companies to maintain the unhealthy profit margins the boards desire, companies cut corners on materials and quality control. I worked in quality control at a gun manufacturer, and they kept cutting our dept and telling us to pass more and more garbage. I quit because i was no longer producing something I could be proud of. im sure spark plugs are not immune to it. Good luck
