what model # and brand of INTAKE would fit in a stock hood in a 1977 vette??? also it would be nice if it had more than the 5500 Rpm but wich ever one fits thanks in advance ....Dual plane not really looking for single

Most will fit. I am running a TPI on my 77 (fairly tall) and it fits comfortably. Get the manifold/carb you want, install it and then choose the tallest dropped base air cleaner that will fit

Im running a ZZ4 intake on my 79 with the stock air cleaner. I've heard it gives a little more rpm than the standard Performer.
I was running a Performer RPM and still using the stock air cleaner under the stock hood.
