Horn relay
1968 convertible where is the horn relay located?

Hi h,
It's mounted to the rear of the driver's side apron just below the hood surround.

Alan , hope I am not butting in here but where is your vacuum tank?
I just changed my horn relay ,what a bear the vacuum tank is right there.

Is the relay in the same position on a 73?

Hi JB,
Yes, the vacuum storage tank is there.
It's difficult to see because it's dark under the hood surround.
You can JUST see the corner of it.

I believe the horn relay is in the same location for the 73 model year.
Member Tooch1 will know for sure.

I just took a look at the 73 AIM and it appears the horn relay is in the same location as 68-72 cars.

That bolt or stud that hold the relay on is a bear to get loose
The wires aren't to bad but that stud is close to impossible!
