Default Changing plugs

Yeah...this question sounds simlpe and I know I should be able to figure this out on my own, but what is the best way to get at the plugs on a 1980? The engine is a L48 if that makes any difference.

FWIW, I've replaced the plugs twice on my '77.

Once from the top with swivels & extensions and finding the plugs by "feel".

Once from below (probably again with swivels & extensions) and I could see the plugs, but I was changing the wires too so I had the shielding off and I happened to have the exhaust pipes and the stater off.

Ratchet handle, 3" or 6" extension, u-joint, another 3" extension, then plug socket. Do by feel; you can't see them. On back two on either side the heat shields must come off. On driver's side the back two plugs come out from below as the steering box prevents access from above. Jacking up front on driver's side frame will do the trick. Use a jack-stand for safety!!

I've changed mine twice in the last 2 years as the gas in this country is sh..

91 octane no lead. !! Damn the greenies and their VW kombis and pushbikes!!

Can get to them all from the top with a long reach socket and a little manual dexterity. Do it by FEEL for those tricky ones.
