I have a 76 Stingray. It was starting fine a few days ago and now nothing, I turn the key and I hear a click. The battery is good, starter is good, all fuses I can find are good. Yesterday I changed the oil, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs and now nothing. Yes it's in park. I have tried everything I can think of and still nothing. Any help would be great.

try putting it in nuetral. If that doesnt work try tapping the starter solenoid with a small hammer or the handle of a screw driver. if it starts you need a starter solenoid, most replace the whole starter
Rule of thumb, if it clicks, you are getting power to solenoid and its mechanically activating, but power is not coming out and going to starter motor, or motor is bad. Try tapping with a hammer like RR said.
Had the same issue for a while now, don't laugh but to get it started it helped rocking the car back and forth by the wheel while in park. I guess it has the same effect as tapping the motor.
The actual issue in my case was a battery disconnect switch. Took it off, retightened the battery cable bolts and it seems to be resolved.
Check your ground wire connections first. Disconnect the battery first. There is a ground connection on the starter a nd another ground from the frame to the engine block. Remove these a nd polish them with sand paper or wire brush till clean. Starter needs a good ground. Easy to do, won't cost anything a nd most likely will solve tor issue. Good luck.
