I have a 1973 Corvette rear wheel r/s in on top.
The r/s rear wheel is in on top. If I check it at 3 and 9 not much movement, if I check it at 12 and 6 have a lot of movement. What could be the problem?

Check the 12 and 6 while someone watches the diff side yoke. There's a good chance the inner end of the yoke is badly worn, allowing it to slip in and out. Will need to remove the diff and open it up for more investigation.
Its not a bearing. Its the yoke.
