Default XSpower headers

I am in the market for headers the uncoated 1 3/4 hookers on my car keep underhood temps to high and I dont want to bake anymore and clearance is a bitch. I am looking at these XS headers, would these has anyone noticed reduced heat with them, adapted to 2.5 in exhaust (xpipe, dynomax Vts), any issues lining up with existing exhaust? Anyone using these with Rack and pinion?

engine is 10.5 ish:1 406, efi, gm fastburn heads, 234/244 .489/.510 112 6k rpm max

I have these XS Power headers and put them on a few months ago on my L82 355...they are awesome. I did have to dimple one of the tubes slightly to clear the idler arm. I had mine ceramic coated locally after the dimpling and before installation since I wanted no heat issues. I don't feel any heat from the headers in the cabin with the coating.

I have them too. Mine were polished stainless and I had them jet-hot coated before installation. They are actually like 12 miles from my house, so I didn't have to ship.

I have the Borgeson steering box. No problem with fitment on the driver's side. Had to dimple the passenger side to clear idler arm on passenger side.

Nice quality, very thick flange plate. No issues with loosening after install. I have ARP stainless studs holding mine on. Had to use two bolts due to clearance issues on two runners.
