Are new windshields with IR coating available for our c3's? I want to repmace windshield before it gets painted and I found different sources online from the usual vendors for about $400 (before shipping & taxes) for correct date coded glass, and sbout $250 for non-date coded. Since my 74 base coupe is a resto-mod, I'm not concerned about date coding. I can get PPG glass at my friends shop for cost (about $150).
what would be nice is the IR coating similar to what is found on new cars. Does anyone know if its available (and a source) for our cars?
