tan a/c vacuum hose routing
Hi all,
Yet another issue re: 1972 Corvette A/C "Tan" hose routing.
Does anyone have a photo of which Actuator the tan vacuum hose connects to? Is it secretly hiding in plain site? I only see 3 actuators: 2 on plenum and 1 on pass side vent area. AIM manual has been reproduced so many times its useless in routing photos.
Much appreciated again!
Thank you

Hi,
The routing for the tan hose is shown in the AIM A/C option pages.
It's on UPC C60, sheet E 5.
It runs from the vacuum manifold on the controller to a vacuum pot that's mounted on the BACKSIDE of the air box. It's near the center of the car.
It's difficult to see with the box installed…but it's there.
You can reach it with your fingers.
Good Luck
Regards,
Alan

Ac Actuator
Thankz Alan 71
i did find it. The plenum is the one item i had help installing and i was at engine compartment during install. The helper had no knowledge of that flipping actuator needing the hose hooked to it.
Go figure it would surface during final install.
Thanks for your reply
