Default Thoughts on this brake kit

So I have a 78 SAE L82 with 5,400 miles, but it's been sitting for a decade in my dad's garage. It's pretty much a perfect car, but the brakes are totally inoperable due the calipers being shot because of the seals, etc. What do you think about this kit? I'm trying to keep it as stock as possible.

Don't forget about the master cylinder also. I'm sure it is in the same condition as the rest of the system. Replace it all in one shot. Never been a fan of Ecklers. Not going to bash them but I have always dealt with Zip but there are other very good vendors here also. I have bought from them all over the years and some are way better than others.

Ecklers is about 30 min from my house so I save on the shipping that way. I really have no opinion on any Chevy vendors as this is the first one that I'm working on. Fords and Mopar have been my past.

Your local auto parts store will have everything except the hard lines.

Well then that is a bonus if they are close by. You can pick it up and see what you are getting. I've just found them to be a little pricey but if no shipping it might negate that.

How lucky you are.

About the brakes, do you have a six point 5/8" socket and a breaker bar with a pipe on it?

Yes and Yes. Hopefully it won't come to the breaker bar as there is ZERO rust on any part of the car. Unless that's just how they were put on at the factory....
