I have noticed that with aftermarket prts it appears you can adjust the rear spring height. I would think that the height with stock parts oculd be adjusted as well. I haven't hit the manuals yet, but does anyone know if this is adjustable....mine sits a shade lower than I'd like in the rear.
You tighten the spring bolts to effectively shorten the distance between the trailing arm and the end of the spring. This will increase the ride height of the rear. There may not be much room for adjustment on stock spring bolts with castle nuts and cotter pins. You should be able to find a similar grade 8 bolt and nylon locking nut at a local fastener supplier.
I just bought some yesterday at a fastener supplier. They actually suggested a Grade 5 bolt because it will have less tendancy to shear than a Grade 8. Also, instead of nylocks, they sold me some nuts that are kind of pinched in at the top. Can't remeber what they're called exactly, but they dont budge.

troy, the nuts your talking about are called "deformed thread". just for future reference. i was advised to use the same thing but those nuts have a tendancy to tear up the bolt threads if installed and removed often enough. since my car sees so much track time and i'm always playing with different settings, i opted for the nylocs. mine cost me just a hair under $10 since i bought an entire spare assembly just in case. just tell me one thing, though. you did use a jam nut too, right?
