Default C3 Distributor connection

Could some please send me a pic showing where the black cable coming from the coil goes on the distributor. I bought points today that has the condenser built in and I'm not sure where the cables goes. I'm converting back to points after having terrible luck with a Pertronix.

Thanks,

Al

The lead goes to the junction on the points. The old uniset points I recall there was a black or gray color plastic block that the spring off the moving contact hooked to. the coil lead connects with that.

And a picture is worth a thousand words==

Right next to the adjusting screw you can see the gray block.
And a small FWIW: NAPA makes a better set of points and condenser. Not a uniset, but better. If you use the ones you have, be sure and save the clamp and screw for the condenser. They are getting a little more difficult to find when you really need one.

That's how I remember connecting the lead to the uniset points.

That's it. The coil lead just slides in between the spring and the block.
