Many guys buy a car for say $10,000. They put $5000 into it and think it's a $15,000 car, well no it's still worth 10grand maybe a little more or a little less depending on how fast you want to sell.

I think the hardest thing for me to do with my C3 is leave well enough alone. For example, my original stock interior was in pretty good shape, but I had to change it.

Hardest thing to do in a C-3, is almost anything.......it's a small, "sports car", constructed with "full size" Chevrolet components.

I've got a brand new heater core sitting on the shelf under about a half inch of dust. Been putting off doing that job for more years than I care to admit.

Replace the rear differential cover. I have seen it in my future already, one of the broken mounts is next to me on my desk.

Funny. I always tell the wife "I wonder what I'll break today?" when I start wrenching.
Brittle, old 40 year old parts do it all the time, just like plumbing.

May as well pull off the hood, remove the radiator, drain all the fluids, take the body off the frame and replace the birdcage while you are in there.

Its probably the WORST (simple) task on a big block vette. Seriously...a 2 piece hose? Who the hell came up with that????
