Default Wiring in a connection question

I have a issue with the wires inside the connection that plug into the turn signal connection. If it bumped the rear brake lights or turn signals stop working. The wires are loose in the connection. What can I do to keep the wires from moving around inside the connection.

Thanks
Joey

Which connector? The steering column "harmonica" or the rear harness connector? Or?

The steering column harmonica. Not sure the technical term for it. The wires are loose in it.

Couple of ways to approach this. They do "float" a little. On the female side, use a very small needle nose pliers and squeeze the opening a little to tighten them up. Careful is the key word. On the male side, you can take a pick and release the terminals one at a time and pull them out then adjust the locking tab to make them more secure. The 2 halves should snap together. You might be able to take a pick and go into the wire side of each connector and push the terminals together a bit.

Thank you. I will give that a shot. Just did not want to mess anything up.
