Spindle Nut Size
Got a 1974 Corvette roller that needed brake work. When I took off the spindle nuts there were no washers behind them. I went to Auto Zone to get a nut/pin/washer kit and they are 3/4 - 20 but the spindle thread size with a dial caliper is .825. What is the size suppose to be? Where can I source these parts? Ecklers couldn't tell me the size although they do sell NOS kits.

You asked what size the nut/washer are "supposed" to be.
I believe they are typically 3/4"-20 with a special configuration washer.

You can see the slot for the 'tag' on the washer so it's stabilized in place.

Brian, can you post a picture of your spindle? You are talking about the front spindle, correct?
The picture should show the entire spindle along with the caliper/rotor as well.
