I thought it was having 6 or more kills to be an ace...?
And as for the other German markings, would that cross made up of "L" shapes be what you're talking about? The cross with the white + in the middle? I've seen it both black with white in the middle and white with black in the middle http://www.goodstufftogo.net/html/bo...sp?ItemID=4992 (look on the tail shaft of the plane and ignore those ">>" decals)
