Here are the 'kill' flag templates I promised to post. If you guys find any different ones, please post them; I can make them up in the same size and format as the others.

Interesting concept. If you're trying to do the WWII aircraft style, they used the 2 Japanese flag (army= meatball & sunburst = imperial navy) ones you depict, but for the German aircraft, they used a black cross, shorter and thicker than the flag you show, with a small pinstripe in the "cut out" parts of the cross. If you want to do a flag, you'll have to use the red, yellow and black national flag. The flag you have is similar to Finland's aircraft of that period. Nice idea...

Re: 'Kill' flag templates (MassVette)
I saw a DeLorean DMC with a GM 350 crate in it at a car show last year. He had a bunch of Z/28, T/A and Mustang decals on his windows with red X's through them.
Not sure I could use one. Many ricers rev there engines when they are a safe distance away, but as of yet, not a one has had the cahunees to go for it. Now Mustangs, that's a different story. I can't even go on a nice quiet cruise without one of them wanting a go.

Thanks. I cut out the German cross like you said, leaving a white border around the perimeter. The proportion is adjusted so as to be harmonious with the Japanese flags. You can add the black pinstripe around the German insignia if you wish.
I prefer NOT to publish, OR display on my vehicle the real German WWII Luftwaffe insignia (Swastika) for obvious reasons.
Yea, I don't blame you on the swastika. It was displayed on the tail only as a sop to the *****. all insignia on the wings and fuselage were the standard Luftwaffe square crosses that are less offensive. Both "kill" symbols were used on Allied aircraft, as even then there were repercussions for using the swastika as a "kill" flag. It varied from unit to unit, depending on the CO.
