I don't think the body needs to be off. He said it actually polishes chrome. :eek:
In my case, I'm glad that everything is "completely" removed from the body. No windows, weatherstrip, chrome, emblems, interior, etc. That way, all paint, primer and 35 years worth of under the chrome crud, etc. will be removed. He says that it's an excellent way to clean the firewall and tranny tunnel of grease and grime.
The body is sitting on a wooden dolly and will be trailered to his garage.
Car completely finished by next spring? Probably not.....maybe late summer.....Carlisle????
P.S. Not likely to ever see a trailer again after this is all done. :jester
