Default Needle and seat comparison

Note the plunger is different in size, and it has half the travel of the original. Also note the needle tip passage way is more restricted for fuel to flow.. Should i just buy a holley brand. Or will this show no effect? My carb is a proform 750 mechanical secondaries

I would suggest that there is no way to determine flow through a valve by eyeballing it, much in the same way that there is no way to determine flow through a jet by eyeballing it. But I suspect that the engineering departments of the manufacturers will have that information, if you are persistent in hanging on the phone to get to the right person.

I am going to try them untill the Holley ones come in.. Some manufactures are less than accurate than the big names..these have no stamping numbers on them. Atleast i can eyeball a holley one and know the size.
