Default Plenum Screens

Did they ever make the screens out of metal screen, and if they did what years where they. The reason I ask is mine are missing and where they fit in the plenum there is pieces left over where they were held in. If they used before 76, that means either someone replaced them with the earlier ones or my front end has been replaced. Which that means my front was hit.

Hi c,
Yes, there were 2 different screens used… depending on the year.
The 73-75 were wire mesh.
Regards,
Alan

Thanks Alan I knew if anyone knew you would. Now I guess my car was hit in the front, and someone replaced it with with a different front end. Who ever did it it looks like they did a nice job. The doors have a nice gap all the way around. Hood fits nice with the front end. Now I am wondering how bad was it hit.
Thanks again Alan
