To those in the future who searched regarding 460lb coils springs (ignore the hijack) here's what it looks like with 1 1/2 coils removed from new 460lb springs. It's about an inch lower than I wanted BUT, there's absolutely NO rub from the 245/60-15 tires and camber is not quite negative, but much better than before. I just ordered the longer rear spring bolts to adjust the rear height. I do kinda like the look, though.

While searching for threads regarding cutting coil springs, I recall finding one that I believe DUB stated to make sure the spring is indexed correctly in the upper frame pocket and wherever the spring falls in the lower control arm is ok.

So with the 550,s you did not have to cut anything off them?

If your bottom coil end had gone into the index depression you would probably be cursing now .
You do realise when you lower the back the front will come down a teeny bit more.
again , she looks great and will look even better when the rear comes down

And, to put the finishing touch on this thread, here's a photo with the longer rear spring bolts installed and adjusted. I reeeally like how it looks, but I need to be very careful with any type of curb. I've got about 4 1/2 inches of ground clearance with the exhaust pipes.
