Dumb wiring question
I have an early 1968 L-36 427 convertible with an adjustable steering column. Today the curved wire connector, which I believe is the turn signal, fell out on my feet. It has a metal clip on the back which means it is supposed to be anchored somewhere. I found a place but I don't think it is the right one. Where is it supposed to go?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

That wire connection powers the turn signals and horn.
Telescopic wheel movement may have knocked the mounting tabs off.
If everything is still working ie... signals, hazards , horn then reattach to underside of lower column cover area of column.
If the mount is broke, it can be electrical taped to lower column.
Check for interference when column is collapsed.
Lower column cover hides the connector.
