Default question on 2 wire/connections: quiz for pro's

Hi there,

Recently bought a 1970 C3. Very low experience with this car, getting to know it.
While doing a thorough inspection I found two wires disconnected. (see photo's). Both are at passenger car side.

The first one looks like halve melted connector. It looks similar like the one connected to the airco. it's on the right side, middle of the picture. I have no clue where this should connect on.

The second one looks like a green wire, torn. Middle of the picture near the yellow wireI can't see where it's supposed to be attached to, nor can I find the other part...

This rookie would be very thankful with some insights.

I cant remember.... I know that i use to know it...alot of good that does right now. Does AC clutch sound right? Or is it the pressure valve ?? It should be bolted close to one of the ac lines probably next to heater box.

Keep in mind this if from one of my 1971 wiring diagrams.
It appears the dark green is either from the water temp sensor or from the horn relay to the horn. Easy way the check if it's the horn then it shouldn't be "hot" unless the horn button is pressed.
The other connector seems to be part of the TCS/timer relay system.

The wires are for the TCS-- Transmission Controlled spark the double connector went to a solenoid on the intake manifold the green wire went to a sender on the cylinder head

You are probably correct about the dark green wire. It probably goes to the TCS systems temp sender. The wiring diagram I posted above doesn't call out the TCS's temp sender wire color. I just checked my AIM wiring diagram and the TCS temp sender wire is dark green. Remember, this is on a '71 so YMMV.
