Default Where does this wire go?
On my 69 i discovered this brown wire with a melted end.
I also noticed the nearby the brake fluid manifold(?) doesn't have a wire
connected to it. Does this wire go there? It looks a little short.

That goes to the brake proportioning valve. Just below where you're holding it. I can see the pin it goes on in your picture.
