NEW DIY'er...I'm replacing the fuel filter on my 74 big block Corvette...I'm assuming that the end of the fuel filter that has the hole in it, is where the fuel line comes in to the filter?
IS this correct? My assumption was based on the fact that the other end of the fuel filter is a closed end...

If this is the little filter inside the inlet of the Quadrajet carburetor you are correct. The open end of the filter is at the inlet end closest to where the fuel line attaches.
