Default Hose ID for 78

Somewhat of a rookie mechanical type question but here goes. I'm replacing old hoses and whatnot on my 78 and this one is pretty crusty and needs to go. Could be original since it's coated on the bottom with undercoating that my car has and has an original clamp. Want to buy the right replacement.

Its on the the pax side with some sort of actuator hooked up to it with a yellow wire. Runs from this actuator to underneath the passenger side in front of the footwell.

Here's a pic...

Hot water shut off valve for factory air cars. It uses regular heater hose. The tower clamp is probably original; the gear clamp is a replacement.

Be careful taking the hose off the heater core, If you pull on it you will make the heater core leak and then you will have a BIG job replacing it.

Thanks guys! Told you it was a somewhat newb type question. And thanks for the advice on going easy. I'll probably grab a knife and cut it at the end vs pulling. I'd rather not rip apart my car to replace the heater core right now.
