I would like to move the parking brake bracket from the side of the trailing arm to the top... (Have new 18x9.5 with 5.25 BS and the tires rub terribly on the brake cable!)
How does one detach the end of the brake cable to re-thread it from the bottom of the arm to the top? Does this require removal of the rear brake calipers and removing the brake disc/hub?
Thanks!

medium size flat screw driver and some long nose pliers work well together to unhook the cable , watch the small white nylon wear guide doesn't fly off or break .
