Default Spreader bar

I am searching for a spreader bar for my 72 BB with VBP Performance plus suspension, VBP has one but need input, stock fan is out, using a spal electric fan.
Anyone done this?

YUP, after wheels/tires and rack steering, it was a solid number 3 in the handling dept improvements.....even better than the plastic spring in rear, which is a HUGE improvement in the RIDE.....I have Bilstein sports on all 4 corners.....

I put one on my '79 a couple of years ago. Probably the best mod there is in terms of bang for the buck. I have the factory fan and there is plenty of room. Should be even better with your electric fan.

Here is a picture of my old Speed Direct Spreader bar in my big block 68 fitted with a Spal fan.
I changed over to a VB&P one I found on ebay but have not taken a picture of it yet.

I did it, same setup on my 80, but with a small block.

I agree with others, it's one of the best of many mods I've made, especially for the money. The front end of my '80 used to squeak and rattle a LOT, but not after I installed the VBP spreader bar (with electric fans).

I agree with the others this is a good upgrade. I fabricated a brace with angle iron welded to make the brackets to fasten on the A-arm bolts and heim joints and tie rod bought for about $20. I have the stock fan removed from my 68 BB and have electric fan with lots of room for the bar.

I just purchased one for my 73 BB through Van Steel. Nice set up. They advised it is a must to improve handling.

HA- had to put on my sunglasses to view yours- nice job!!!!

Really easy to make your own-

I used a Panhard bar from Speedway motors - on their 'Garage sale"- like $50 as needed a curved bar to clear my dry sump pump.

Some angle iron, bolts and a can of spray paint-
