Default best trouble shooting media out there?

Alright...I'm running out of patience on my old girl. She's sat ,neglected for many a year, and this is all getting a bit overwhelming....starting to get on my nerves BAD!!
\
Sooooo....who has the best books/CD's available to do fast , easy trouble shooting....heck, I'd be happy with jus some decent pics. I like the nice color pics and step by step diagnosis/fix. But right about now I'll take about anything. I have the AIM and 2 of those el cheapo Haynes type pos that you look all over in only to never find a decent pic.

Would be extra nice if there's something you can purchase and download/burn immediately....times a wasting on getting this sorted out!

Thanks for any help guys!

Ha! Patience and time are your friends... your very good friends. Other than that, a reproduction factory manual, the AIM, an index to the AIM, the electrical wiring diagram for your model year and this wonderful forum should just about cover any issue you may have.... uncle Google pitches in from time to time and lets me find stuff to buy.

Troubleshooting what, specifically?
CorvetteForum is a good place to start.
LOTS of info on YouTube.

No manual for troubleshooting. Google your question for most answers. Search the corvette forum and if not post a question on this forum

Hi CB,
Many owners find the specific year GM Chassis Service Manual to be of more help when working on an old Corvette than the Haynes Manual.

Trouble shooting is rarely quick or easy…. that's why working on old cars is so rewarding.
Regards,
Alan

The Forum always comes thru. Might not be what you want to hear in most cases.

The forum is probably the best place to get advise to figure out problems.
I've been troubleshooting all my life being an aircraft mechanic and now working on robots and complicated semiconductor manufacturing equipment for the past 30+ years.
Troubleshooting can't be written down in a book. It's an art form. The best thing you can do to become a good troubleshooter is to know how the system works when it is working correctly. Knowing that helps find the problem when something goes wrong.
