Today's problem. I changed out the hoses rebuilt the left actuator and replaced a spring. Now the door is about 3/16 low. Could I have done this by screwing the clevis a thread more than it was? I counted 6 that's where I put it back at.
Hi C,
This bolt adjusts the headlight door in it's closed position.
Turning one direction raises the door and the other direction lowers the door.
Regards,
Alan
Have the door down and reach up from the underside/rear to do the adjustment. You'll immediately see which way you need to turn the bolt to raise or lower the door.
Thanks Allan I'm over thinking again wondering if that's why they had one spring missing.
As Alan has shown you, the stop bolt will raise the lid if you just screw it in. I did a video on other adjustments if you need more than just a raise in the front lip.
