76' Shifter Cable length?

76' Shifter Cable length?
Hey does anyone know the length of the shifter cable? Or an alternative to the expensive original? I bought the ATP Y-403 since it shows too fit the 76' but I installed it and it is too long. By nearly an inch. Any Ideas?

It came in a box and then inside a wrapper. It's in great condition it just doesn't fit. For example the transmission is in park but the shifter is at the bottom of neutral. The Y-403 is said too be 19.25" When looking up other alternatives for the 76' it was 19". I think that may be it but im not sure if even thats short enough. Why are they different sizes? Does anyone know the correct length?

Im sorry for my other messages I meant 29" and 29.25. That length from rock auto seems more reasonable. And no I can't measure since it snapped, that's why I am replacing it. I'll look into the one from rock auto. I was just hoping to find an alternative that'll fit since the original is around 60$ without shipping while the alternatives are like $40 with shipping. But I'll just have to go for the one I know will fit.
