I recently took my smog pump junk off and capped everything. Checking vacuum on passenger side and it was about 20" or more. Got it down to the requisite 6" and car runs so much smoothly. Something must have been leaking somewhere if the smog system and tbi turned way up high to get the right vacuum in spite of the lead. Leak gone, and vacuum adjusted, and all is good.
